The Institute of Educational Science and Technology was established in 2000, and is a comprehensive and cross-disciplinary research organization which absorbs researchers of different specialized areas, such as basic theory of education, curriculum and teaching theory, educational psychology, and educational technology. It has 8 professors and 11 associate professors. Researcher of the Institute are active in many different research areas, including teaching and training design, experiment of curriculum and instruction reform, curriculum theory and teaching theory, education leadership decision and management, modern education technology, psychology counseling and measurement, and theory & method of school subject teaching. In recent years, it has undertaken more than 10 national, provincial and ministerial-level research projects and international collaborative research projects, and has obtained a number of important research results, and won national, provincial and ministerial-level outstanding teaching achievements and scientific research achievements. Many courses have been listed as national quality courses, national quality resource sharing courses and national MOOC courses.
